Online Workshop: Crimes Against Humanity in North Korea and the Global Supply Chain

On April 16, Joanna Hosaniak, Deputy Director in General, was invited as the main speaker to the online workshop organized by the LiNK UC Berkeley branch and talked about how the global supply chain of wig and eyelashes are linked to the crimes of humanity happening to North Korean women in detention facilities. While explaining the recent crisis in North Korean human rights movement caused by abrupt budget cuts by the Trump administration, Hosaniak emphasized continued attention of global youth to the North Korean human rights issue for its resolution.
