NKHR Featured on Polish TV Documentary Program (Link below)

This Sunday, our Deputy Director, Dr. Joanna Hosaniak, was featured on “A Woman at the End of the World” (Kobieta na krańcu świata), a popular Polish documentary program broadcast by TVN Warner Bros. Discovery.

💬 In a conversation with host Martyna Wojciechowska, Dr. Hosaniak discussed North Korea’s forced labor camps, the situation of people fleeing North Korea (especially women at risk of human trafficking), and how goods produced in North Korea can reach global markets under a “Made in China” label. They also discussed the challenges North Korean refugees continue to face in seeking acceptance in South Korea.

The documentary reached nearly 1 million viewers within just a few hours of its broadcast.

🌍 English and Korean subtitles will be released soon. For now, you can watch the documentary on YouTube using the “auto-translate” subtitle feature.
